The cell is the smallest unit of life in an organism where all the activities of life take place. The cell is surrounded by a cell or plasma membrane. The nucleus is the control center of the cell. The plasma membrane is composed of phospholipid molecules and protein. The parts of the membrane move around constantly. That is why the membrane is said to be fluid. This is called the fluid mosaic model of the plasma membrane. Meanwhile, the mitochondria are called the powerhouses of the cell. Muscle and liver cells have many mitochondria and produce a lot of energy. (s)
