The frog diagram above shows the outer anatomy of the frog. Frogs have two forelimbs in the front, or anterior end, and two powerful hind limbs in the rear, or posterior, for swimming. Inside the body cavity of a frog, there are many organ systems present such as the circulatory system, digestive system, respiratory system, nervous system, excretory system, and reproductive system. The digestive system of a frog consists of the organs of the digestive tract, or food tube, and the digestive glands. The respiratory system consists of the nostrils and the larynx, which opens into two lungs, hollow sacs with thin walls. The urinary system consists of the frog’s kidneys, ureters, bladder, and cloaca. The following diagrams are the ones without the labels.
